Mr. Ron Livingston
President: Mr. Ron Livingston

President, International Environment Management Co., Ltd.Mr. Livingston, President of International Environmental Management (IEM), has 25 years of private and public sector experience in environmental management. He worked with the Canadian government as Senior Director and has served on public environmental assessment review boards while in Canada. Eighteen years ago, Mr. Livingston relocated to Thailand and founded IEM, a private environmental management consulting company supporting both government and the private sector. A focus of IEM’s environment, health and safety management consulting has been in support of Thailand’s hydrocarbon development industry. Mr. Livingston has been a member of the TCCC for 18 years and actively represents the voice of the small business. Mr. Livingston was selected as President of the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce in 2006, and is also currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trade of Thailand. He is also an active Rotarian. Mr. Livingston is committed to the TCCC’s efforts to support the further development of Thai and Canadian business interests.



Mrs. Sukanya Rattanavadee
Vice President: Ms.Sukanya Rattanavadee

Sukanya Rattanavadee joined the TCCC Executive Board in 2004 as Director and Secretary in 2005. She is a Vice President of the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce for the last three years. She is a co-founder of Thaiphum Skylights Co. Ltd., a sister company to P&O Regale Travel Co. Ltd., to take on a new partnership as General Sales Agent of Air Canada in Thailand in March 2003. Since then, she has assumed the General Manager post in the new company, overseeing its overall performance. Being in the management team of P&O Regale, Khun Sukanya also handles the sales management of other major products, namely Princess Cruises, Cunard Lines and P&O Cruise Australia. Before joining P&O Regale, Khun Sukanya had sixteen years of experience working for Pacific Leisure Co. Ltd., the then GSA of Canadian Airlines International. She headed their operation in ticketing and reservation for many years before moving into the sales and marketing field. Her last position there was Sales Manager of Canadian Airlines. Altogether Khun Sukanya has more than 30 years of experience in the travel industry.



Mr. Jonathan Andresen
Vice President: Mr. Jonathan Andresen

Mr. Andresen is currently responsible for the Business Development of Nortel’s Wireless & WiMAX business unit in South East Asia. Mr. Andresen has been working in the telecommunications sector since 1997 and joined Nortel's Asia-Pacific Wireless team in 2003, after serving in a management position in Nortel’s optical business unit in Ottawa. Prior to joining Nortel, Mr. Andresen held management positions with Montreal-based Teleglobe Inc., Canada’s largest international telecommunications carrier, and MetroPhotonics, a semiconductor start-up company located in Ottawa. Mr. Andresen began his career at Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and holds a Master of International Management from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, Carleton University, Canada. Mr. Andresen has been a member of the Board since 2004 and selected as a Vice President in 2008.




Mr.Raymond Bodemer
Treasurer: Mr. Raymond Bodemer

Raymond is a member of the Chamber since 1996 and was first elected to the Board in 2004. This year he was selected to act as the Chamber Treasurer. Raymond first came to Thailand in 1990; he has been living in Thailand since 1996. He is the Managing Director of Elephant Eagle Co. Ltd, a Thai company formed in 2002. Raymond has been in international telecommunications since 1995 and over the past 12 years he has worked extensively in Thailand as well as in the South and South East Asian regions. Raymond actively represents the TCCC on the ICT Committee at the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce (JFCCT). Raymond is married with three “growing up” children.




Ms. Kathy Baptie
Secretary: Ms. Kathy Baptie

Kathy hails from Calgary, Alberta and Brantford, Ontario, Canada. She has over 13 years of experience in the Canadian and American health care industries. Prior to moving to Bangkok in 2005, Kathy was the Director Standards Management at a state hospital in North Carolina, USA. In this role she was responsible for Performance Improvement and Standards Compliance, Risk Management, Infection Control, Staff Development and Medical Records. This position played to Kathy’s strengths in project management and strategic planning. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alberta and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary. After graduating with her MBA in 1998, Kathy worked for the Calgary Health Authority as a Health Planning Specialist where she was the project manager for various health system reorganization projects. One of these projects involved leading a regional stakeholder consultation series and planning and implementing focus groups, surveys and workshops. Currently, Kathy holds the post of Community Relations Officer, BNH Hospital. This position incorporates both public relations and customer service functions and has allowed Kathy to participate in many community and charitable events here in Bangkok through BNH Hospital corporate sponsorship, event planning and connecting with the local expatriate and Thai community. After joining the Board in 2007, she was selected as Secretary of the Board this year.




Mr. Kobsak Duangdee
Director: Mr. Kobsak Duangdee

Khun Kobsak has been a TCCC member since the inception of the Chamber. He was a TCCC Board member from 1994 to 1996 and served as Treasurer to the TCCC Executive Board in 2002 before being selected as President from 2003 to 2005. He started his banking career in 1978 with the Siam Commercial Bank and then moved to the Bank of Thailand as Assistant Analyst, Internal Audit Department. He has been working for 24 years for the Bank of Nova Scotia. In addition to Thailand, he also looks after the Bank’s business in Vietnam, Lao PDR and Cambodia. In 1992, he received the Bank’s Chairman’s Club Award. Khun Kobsak is also a Board member of Thanachart Securities. Khun Kobsak completed his Bachelor Degree in Accountancy from the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy at Chulalongkorn Uiversity and received a MBA (Finance) from the University of Tennessee Knoxville (USA). He has served as a Director since 2006.



Mr. Sranyoo Chanate
Director: Mr. Sranyoo Chanate

Sranyoo Chanate, Vice President of Kluaynamthai Hospital Group and Chief Executive Officer of Kluaynamthai 1 Hospital, Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Public Health. And also presently the license holder of the Kluaynamthai Training School, the Chairman of Kluaynamthai Health Software Co., Ltd., on the Board of Directors of the Junior Senior Home Care Co., Ltd., Vice President of the Kluaynamthai Foundation and President of the Kluaynamthai Inter-health Neuro-Rehabilitation Center. Khun Sranyoo is also involved in many other Associations, Executive Committee-League of Foundations of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the King, and was the National President 2000 of the Junior Chamber of Thailand, the Board of Directors of the Thai Medical Informatics Society, Vice Chairman for the Young Presidents’ Organization, Thailand, the Secretary General of Thailand-Hong Kong Business Council, and a Member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, USA. Khun Sranyoo was first elected to the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce in 1999, was Vice President from 2000 to 2004 and continuted as Director from 2005.




Mr. Subhasakdi Krishnamra
Director: Mr Subhasakdi Krishnamra
As Managing Partner of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Jaiyos, Khun Subhasakdi leads one of Thailand’s most prominent professional services firm. He is responsible for the development and growth of Deloitte in Thailand and for the firm’s strategy and day to day operations. He has many years experience in operational and organizational consulting for a diverse base of public and private sector clients. Previously, he worked in Deloitte’s Management Consulting Service Team where his specialist consulting experience was sought by local and international clients in areas including: process improvements, reengineering, reorganization, restructuring and productivity improvement. From 1989 to 1993, Khun Subhasakdi gained international experience in the Canadian and U.S. firm of Deloitte & Touche. Durint this time, he advised clients in the areas of organizational and operational reviews, in order to improve clients’ productivity, information technology strategy and implementation, and financial management systems. Khun Subhasadkdi’s breadth of experience spans a diverse range of industries including: banking and finance, manufacturing, retail, insurance, and the public sector. He occasionally is a guest lecturer for a number of MBA programs, and has presented at external seminars on the topic of productivity improvement and performance measurement. He is also one of the instructors for the Thai Institute of Company Director (IOD) on the topic of Risk Assessment and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors in Thailand. Khun Subhasakdi graduated in Chemical Engineering (Honours) from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in the UK and obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, U.S.A. Khun Subhasakdi was elected to the Board in 2007 and continues as a director in 2008.



Ms. Cristel Dellepoort
Director: Ms. Cristel Mol-Dellepoort

Cristel Dellepoort, Managing Director for Business Mission Asia Co., Ltd. Cristel has been living and working in Thailand for the better part of 10 years, working with her Canadian husband Brad in their own consulting and B2B services company, Business Mission Asia since 2001. The group of companies includes The Biz X-Change™, its business brokerage division and Innovasia Graphics Limited, the group’s graphic design business. She spends equal time in both Canada and Thailand and hopes to bring her sense of creativity and experiences as an entrepreneur in Thailand to the benefit of the Thai-Canadian Chamber. She was first elected to the TCCC Executive Board this year.



Mr. Bruce Hodges
Director: Mr. Bruce Hodges

Bruce M. Hodges is heading the Thailand office of Manulife Insurance since 2007 after working in Japan since 2004 as Vice President, Insurance Operations & HR for Manulife Japan. Before joining Manulife Insurance in 1998, Bruce worked as Product Manager, Business Credit for Canada Trust and as Associate Product Manager, Insurance for Royal Bank Insurance. He started his career with the Toronto Dominion Bank in 1990. Manulife Financial is a leading Canadian-based financial services group serving millions of customers in 19 countries and territories worldwide. Manulife Insurance (Thailand) Limited was established in 1951 and is a nationwide provider of a broad range of products and services designed to meet the financial protection and savings needs of eligible individuals and organizations in Thailand. The company has more than 40,000 policyholders serviced by more than 450 professional agents with 13 branches and agency offices all over the country. Assets under management at Manulife Insurance (Thailand) rose by 178% in from last year. Bruce graduated from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario with a MBA with Distinction in 1997. He is an ardent runner and could be seen in the front line at last year’s Cancer Care Run (Terry Fox run) in Bangkok. Bruce and his family are eager to get involved in the Canadian business and social community in Bangkok. Bruce is joining the Board in 2008 as Director.



Mr. Niccolo Sozzi
Director: Mr. Niccolo Sozzi

Mr. Sozzi is the Global Director, Sales & Marketing for the Canadoil Group, a world class manufacturer, fabricator and distributor of piping solutions for the Oil, Gas and Energy industries. To date, the Group is the largest manufacturing based Canadian investor in Thailand, with more than USD250 millions of assets in Thailand and employs more than 1500 people. Niccolo started off his career in 1994 with the family’s flagship business established in 1979 in Quebec, Canadoil Forge, specialized in large diameter piping components for the oil & gas industry. From 1999 to 2001, he moved to London, UK”s Merrill Lynch International to deal with the Associate Equity Capital Markets before returning to the family’s business at Canadoil Group. Niccolo is a dynamic 36 years old businessmanfluent in four languages. He was educated in the United States and earned a BA from New York University and an MBA in Finance & Accounting from the University of Chicago. Niccolo is a newly elected director on the Board this year.




Mr. Terence Dean
Director: Mr. Terence Dean
Terence (Terry) and his wife Sharon have lived in Thailand for almost 2 years, the 1st year in Jomtien Pattaya. Terry worked at the Michelin Factory in Laem Chabang as a Management coach before moving to Bangkok in May 2007. He now works in the corporate office working on development projects for Michelin Truck and Bus plants in Thailand and China. Terry has worked for Michelin in various management roles in Europe, North America and now Asia for 39 years. He graduated from Blackburn College England with a Full Tech certificate in Plant Engineering. Terry joined the TCCC in November of 2007. He has previous experience serving the community as the Co-Chair of the Annapolis Valley (Nova Scotia Canada) Literacy fund raising committee. Terry was elected to the Board this year.




Mr. Greg Goldhawk
Embassy Representative: Mr. Greg Goldhawk

Greg took up his present duties as Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy in September 2006. Previous international assignments included Atlanta, Georgia, USA; Sydney, Australia; Athens, Greece; and Washington, DC; with intervening stops at the Department of Foreign Affairs & International Trade in Ottawa, first as the Deputy Director for US Trade & Investment Development, and later as Deputy Director, Korea & Oceanic Asia. He received his Masters Degree in International Relations from Carleton University in 1979, and a Masters of Business Administration degree in 1981 from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School.




Mr. Sam Cohen
Advisor and Past President: Mr. Sam Cohen

Mr. Cohen has been involved extensively in the Canadian Business Community for some time. He was first active in the Thai-Canadian Business Association which was formed in 1988. His involvement continued when TCCC was officially registered in 1991 and has served on the Board ever since in different positions. Mr. Cohen is a Petroleum Geologist and a consultant at Sage Consultants specializing in the petroleum, energy argricultural and education sectors.



Mr. Don Lavoie
Advisor Mr. Don Lavoie:

Having lived and worked in Southeast Asia for the past 28 years, Mr. Lavoie is quite familiar with the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand where he moved in 1989. He has now his own consulting company, Avenir Co., Ltd. Until recently he was Bombardier Transportation's Country Manager for Thailand responsible for project development and sales of transit systems and mass transportation equipment and has established their regional representative office in Bangkok. Don has been a member of the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce since its inception. He has served as a member of the TCCC Board a number of years, and looks forward to contributing once again as an advisor.



Mr. Surachit Chanovan
Advisor: Mr. Surachit Chanovan
Mr. Chanovan has been with the Canadian Education Centre Network (CECN) for almost two years focusing on promoting Canadian education to Thai students/parents. As Director Thailand of the CEC Network, he has managed to increase the number of Thai students to Canada with interesting promotional activities in the Thailand market amid strong competitions from Aust./UK/US and NZ and last year CEC Thailand has won the TCCC Thai-Canada Linkages Award under his direction. Before joining the CEC Network, he worked with Amadeus, a global travel distribution systems company, as Regional Manager Asia Pacific and prior to that he was Country Manager for Air New Zealand and Ansett Australian Airlines. K. Surachit has a B.A. degree in International Relations from The University of Delaware and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Missouri, USA. He has travelled extensively in Canada.



Mr. Luc Metivier
Advisor: Mr. Luc Metivier
Luc Métivier obtained an LL.L. in 1985 from the University of Ottawa and Executive MBA in 1996 from McGill University in Montreal. He was corporate counsel for the engineering and consulting firm SNC-Lavalin International Inc. for 10 years. In 1997 he was promoted to Vice President and General Manager for Thailand and Indochina, and based in Bangkok. In 1999, he joined the international law firm Vovan & Associés, as Senior Consultant, working mainly in the Bangkok office. In 2005, he joined the firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Jaiyos Co., Ltd. as Director-Business Development. In 2006, he rejoined Vovan & Associés as Partner. He is a Director of the Board of Trade of Thailand (Commercial Arbitation committee), a member of the Quebec Bar and formerly a member of the American Society of International Law and of the Canadian Bar Association. He has joined the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce Executive Board in 1998 and was Vice-President of the Chamber in 2005.
